Jamie Bennett

Director

Jamie Bennett manages the day-to-day operations of both Cancer Playbook and Whole Health Oncology Institute, where she leads with a unique blend of operational strategy, patient-first thinking, and deep industry experience. Her work spans platform development, outreach, survey design, and research coordination, with one goal in mind: helping cancer patients navigate their journeys with better information, real-world outcomes, and compassionate care.

Jamie has been with Operation Zero since shortly after its founding in 2019, initially managing logistics, partnerships, and patient communication under the direction of founder Jeremy Dedmon. When Jeremy stepped away, Jamie took full leadership of the program and stepped into the role of President, transforming Operation Zero into a structured, legally compliant access program providing $1/gram Full Extract Cannabis Oil (FECO) to cancer patients across Oklahoma.

To keep the program running in its early stages, Jamie personally funded Operation Zero using proceeds from her edible product line, covering production, packaging, and transportation costs. This continued until she secured vital support from Jim Gerencser, whose early donations helped expand distribution and establish patient survey systems. Since then, the program has distributed tens of thousands of FECO syringes, saving cancer patients over $500,000 in medicine costs. Most importantly, Jamie partnered with Cancer Playbook Powered by Whole Health Oncology Institute to introduce structured weekly surveys and patient profiles—building one of the most comprehensive Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) datasets on cannabis use in oncology.

Jamie established key partnerships with processors like Dauntless Health, created a compliant infrastructure for Metrc tracking, and implemented a reservation system to streamline dispensary coordination and patient pickups. She also worked directly with Whole Health Oncology to ensure the program’s outcomes were not only helping patients in real time but contributing to long-term research and education efforts through WHOI.

Before leading these health-focused initiatives, Jamie spent years immersed in the Oklahoma cannabis industry—managing licensed operations, launching a successful product line, and traveling across the state to attend industry events and collaborate with OMMA-licensed businesses. That experience gave her the operational backbone and network she continues to draw from today.

Whether she’s coordinating data systems, managing community partnerships, or simply making sure a patient gets their medicine, Jamie brings unmatched dedication, heart, and clarity to every aspect of her work.
